Today I hold in my prayers those who are displaced from their homes due to violence or economic turmoil. I pray that these refugees may find safety and asylum waiting for them instead of shut doors and closed borders. Father, move nations to open their doors to these people are seeking only a better life, seeking peace, and seeking safety. Do not shut our eyes to their plight. Move hearts to give what they can to help those who have left their belongings behind.
Remind those who have left everything that they still have You. Remind them that You will never leave them. Hold them in Your comforting embrace, giving them peace in a time of fear and uncertainty in their lives. Help those who seek to reach out to the displaced with comfort and goods, guide their helping hands to those who truly need it most.
