Once again it’s time to reflect on the last week, and see all of the grace that the Lord has placed in my life. This post is part of the Grace Upon Grace link-up hosted by Jordyn over at She Who Fears. Feel free to join in! (This is take two for #7 because I posted last week when the link-up was taking a break.)
This past week has been crazy busy, but awesome! Here’s how God’s has made an appearance in my life:
1. I received the most wonderful and loving comments to several of my posts over the past week, and it was just really nice. I don’t blog to get a lot of visitors, and frankly I am really okay being a nobody in the virtual world, but it is still so nice to have people take the time to write me a little note with their thoughts. It makes me smile to think I had a small momentary impact on someone’s life.
2. As much as I hate being away from home, I know that God has placed me here for a reason. My work here has challenged me and pushed me. I have become more confident in myself and sure of my abilities. I am less timid at work, and speak up more. This week was very reaffirming in all of these aspects.
3. I’ve mentioned before that I am struggling with something spiritually, and I am gaining more and more clarity on things. I believe that God is showing me the answers that I am seeking and is helping me through my questions. A post is in the works on all this.
4. D and I have been having great, honest and open conversations about life and our future and it makes me so so sooooo excited! I am so thankful that we both feel comfortable being so honest and open with each other, and that communication is a strength in our marriage. I know that we have lots of years to still figure everything out, like where we want to live, trips we want to take, when to start our family, and everything else! While we talked about all of this before we got married, I am glad that these topics continue to be open conversations between us and that nothing if off limits.
Has God’s grace shown in your life lately? What was the best part of your day?
