It’s that time again for the Grace Upon Grace link-up hosted by Jordyn over at She Who Fears! I am always so excited when it’s the second Monday and I get to reflect on the graces that God has shown in my life. Yes, I know I can do that every day, and I usually do, but it is really nice to share them too! So here goes…
+ I am a Catholic!!!!! Whoa, it’s crazy to write that out! I joined the Catholic Church at this years Easter Vigil, and I am so blessed to have been able to do so. I am still learning a lot about the Church, but I know that this is the place that God wants me to be. It fills me with such joy to know that I took such a huge step in faith and this is where I ended up!
+ Little Bean has been kicking, dancing, and wiggling up a storm lately, and while sometimes it is rather painful (and annoying when I am trying to sleep), I try to remind myself that it means she is okay. This little baby of ours is already such a blessing, and I can’t wait to be able to meet her face to face. Eight and some change weeks until her due date, and I am hoping that she holds out at least until then so she can be as ready as possible to join this world of ours.
+ I’ve been a crazy traveler lately, but it’s been really wonderful. I went home end of last month to see my family before Little Bean arrives, and my mom hosted a shower/baby party for me. It was such fun, and really great to see family that I haven’t seen in years! And it was nice to just hang out and not have to do anything too. Then last week D and I took an unofficial babymoon to St Lucia!! We had booked this trip almost two years ago, and I just happened to be very pregnant when it finally came up. But our intent was to go and sit by a pool and do absolutely nothing for a week, so it worked out really well in the end. Mission Accomplished. It was the perfect vacation for both of us, neither of us wanted to have to come home and go back to work.
+ It is spring!! We left for the Caribbean and it was 40 degrees here, but we came back to weather in the 60s and 70s!!! Our daffodils are super happy, and I am so excited to see what our flower beds have in store for us this spring and summer. We planted the daffodils but we don’t know what else may be hidden down in the soil, yay for surprises! Also, we finally ordered seeds and plan on getting in our veggie garden beds soon so then the fun can really begin!
+ Last but not least, I have 6 weeks of work left!!!!! That’s it! Then I get to stay home and clean the house like mad before Little Bean arrives, and then I get to be a mom! I am so excited!!! Nervous? Absolutely! But mostly just so so sooooo excited!!!
